Trash removal occurs on Monday and Thursday. Garbage containers should be placed outside patios no earlier than 5:00 pm the day prior to garbage retrieval. Garbage containers should be removed from open areas by 6:00 pm the day of garbage retrieval.
Trash is collected by Refuse Removal Results (RRR) who can be contacted at (301) 990-3533.
If garbage retrieval day occurs on a holiday, the Crest of Wickford board will notify residents.
Montgomery County Solid Waste Services collects recyclables from the Crest of Wickford on Friday. If recycling retrieval day occurs on a holiday, the Crest of Wickford board will notify residents.

Recycling may be placed outside only after 5:00 pm the day before collection and retried as soon as possible after collection.
Please contact Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection or call 311 to request a free recycling bin. Each unit is permitted one wheeled cart with lid for paper and two blue bins for all other recycles. Please affix your unit number to your recycling bins to ensure they are not confused with those of another unit.
Please note that Montgomery County will not pick up mixed recycles. Paper and plastic must be sorted.
Except for the maintenance of exterior windows, the maintenance of the entire exterior of all buildings, including water lines, roofs, brick walls, chimneys, siding (wood and metal), exterior doors, and trim is the responsibility of the Condominium to complete at common expense. The
maintenance of sewer lines, or portions thereof, that serve more than one Unit is the responsibility of the Condominium to complete at common expense. However, the maintenance of sewer lines, or portions thereof, that serve only one Unit is the responsibility of the owner of that Unit.
Co-owners are also responsible for the maintenance of exterior faucets (hose bibs) and for restoration of any portion of the Common Elements that is disturbed in connection with maintenance work for which the Co-owner is responsible.
Crest of Wickford residents must request approval to alter, make additions or change the appearance of their home or any Crest common element. Unauthorized changes are subject to legal action at the expense of the responsible resident.
Examples of architectural requests approved by the Crest of Wickford Board:
- Replacement of windows/doors (provided color and style are compatible with trim and architecture)
- Replacement/Addition of plants or flowers
Crest of Wickford residents may request architectural changes by completing an Architectural Change Application and submitting to The Crest of Wickford Architectural Committee by e-mailing Abaris. Applications must include completed form and include pictures and specific color choices for Board review.
Examples of items not requiring approval before placement on common elements:
- Lawn furniture
- Containerized plants and shrubs
- Small flower beds comprising less than twenty percent (20%) of the patio surface area.
Each unit shall be assigned no more than one reserved parking permit and one unreserved parking permit (upon verification & approval) for the use of residents in that unit. These parking permits shall be displayed and visible in the lower left side of the drivers side front window of each such vehicle at all times.
Parking permits are non-transferable between Units or vehicles. Each permit is only valid for the Unit and vehicle to which it is registered. Only vehicles owned or operated by residents living in the Unit may be registered.

The keeping of dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, or caged birds as domestic pets is permitted; provided, however, that they are not bred, kept or maintained for commercial purposes. Dogs must be leashed at all times while on the common elements. Pet waste must be disposed of in accordance with County law. Leashed Dogs may be walked in common areas or outside the fence bordering the Condominium.
In 2025, the Board will hold regular virtual Board meetings on the fourth Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm on the following dates with the exception of the November Annual meeting due to the Thanksgiving holiday:

The speed limit at the Crest of Wickford, including roads and parking areas, is always 5 miles per hour.
Please remember that the community includes young children and pets so adhering to this speed limit is of utmost concern.
The washing of vehicles with soap or other cleaners upon the Common Elements is prohibited. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the reasonable use of water exclusively to rinse off a vehicle is not prohibited.
